Meet Beau – The Bouncy, Ball-Loving Staffy x Mastiff!
Beau is a gorgeous 2-year-old Staffy x Mastiff with a heart as big as her personality! She’s affectionate, playful, and full of energy — the kind of dog who’ll bring laughter and love to every day.
Sadly, Beau was returned to us because her previous owner’s change in work patterns meant they couldn’t give her the attention she deserves. She’s looking for a home where she can get the love, exercise, and engagement she needs to thrive.
Beau adores everyone she meets and will happily jump up to say hello — though she doesn’t always realise how big she is, so she’d suit a home with older children or a home with dog savvy children.
She’s doesn’t have much interest in other dogs, and when her ball is out, she’s fully focused on playtime. Fetch and her ball launcher are her absolute favourites, and she could happily chase and retrieve all day. Beau has previously lived in a foster home with other dogs but will need to be the only dog moving forward.
Beau is toilet trained, crate trained, and enjoys cuddles, back scratches, and games of tug-of-war with her toys. She’s clever and very food-motivated — though she is a cheeky thief, so anything tempting needs to be out of reach! She’s happy to be left for sensible periods of time, as long as food and other temptations are put away.
She would benefit from some further training, including basic tricks and polite lead walking, as she can get excited and pull. Off-lead, she’s fantastic and loves running and exploring.
Beau is looking for her forever home or a foster home — an active, affectionate household where she can play, snuggle, and be part of the family. In return, she’ll give endless loyalty, cuddles, and fun!
