Personality
Johnny is a sociable, friendly, and affectionate dog with a curious nature. He may be a bit nervous at first, but his inquisitive side will quickly come out once he feels comfortable. Having spent his entire life with his brother Dermot, Johnny has always had company and would love to continue that bond, though he can also thrive on his own in the right home.
Health & Behaviour
Johnny is in excellent health but has only ever known life in a kennel, so he’ll need some house training. He’s already great on the lead, but ongoing training in general obedience, recall, and socialisation will help him become the best version of himself. Johnny is non-reactive with other dogs, but his behavior around cats is unknown.
Perfect Match?
Johnny is looking for someone to give him the chance to start his new life. He would thrive in a home where he can go on daily walks and enjoy new adventures. Whether adopted with his brother Dermot or separately, Johnny promises to bring love and companionship to his new family. Because he’s never lived with children, a home with older kids or teens would be ideal. If you’re ready to welcome Johnny, he’s ready to give you all the love in the world!
