King Richard

Age: 2/3

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Vaccinations: Pending

Suitable environment: Not tested with other cats, Not tested with dogs

Meet our lovely King Richard. Once a stray with a tale shrouded in mystery, King Richard now seeks his kingdom—a loving forever home filled with patience, warmth, and love!

King Richard is about 2 to 3 years old and hasn’t had the best start in life, coming into the rescue as a stray with many wounds to his head and neck. Despite the battles he endured on the streets, he has recovered well and is now looking for his happily ever after.

In his foster home, King Richard is still learning to trust and find his footing in this new chapter of his life. He is a friendly boy who enjoys attention on his own terms. He often paws at you to ask for cuddles! He is looking for someone with lots of patience and understanding to help him come out of his shell. We believe that, with confidence, he will be a wonderful and playful companion to whoever is lucky enough to adopt him!

King Richard would be happy to live in a home with older children. He has not been tested with dogs, but we believe that he would be happy to live with a cat-savvy dog if careful introductions are made. He has been neutered and vaccinated.

If you’re ready to be the hero of King Richard’s story and give him the happily ever after he truly deserves, he is ready and waiting to meet you!
