Adopt a Cat

Our little shy girl Pom-Bear is looking to find a home!

Her eyes are wide and observant, always watching before deciding if the world is safe enough to step into. When someone enters the room, she doesn’t run far — just enough to keep distance — slipping behind a chair or peeking from the edge of a curtain. She wants to be near, just not too near.

She’s timid and shy, still learning that hands can be gentle. When you reach toward her, she leans back slightly, unsure, her body low and cautious. However now in foster she’s coming on leaps and bounds, getting closer each day and learning humans are actually nice!

We’re making progress – giving gentle head strokes when allowed. She certainly can’t resist a treat, especially when lick-e-lix are involved!

But when she thinks no one is looking, her playful side sparks to life. A crumpled paper ball becomes prey. A flicker of light on the wall is a grand adventure!

She is small, careful, and quietly brave — the kind of cat who doesn’t ask for attention but, in time, will choose you.

Cats like Pom-Bear are the most rewarding. Seeing a once scared little cat flourish into a confident, happy soul is magical.
