Personality
Coco is a big softie! One of our newest rescues we have found Coco to be incredibly resilient. She came into the rescue due to change in previous owners’ circumstances, they only had wonderful things to say about Coco. She is so eager to please, this should make ongoing training a breeze. Coco is playful; she also loves snuggling on the sofa giving lots of kisses. Be warned, she is a little snoring machine. Coco has had to utilize our emergency foster system, she has handled this incredibly well, she has been kind to everyone she has met. Coco is calm and affectionate, she has really stolen the hearts of our volunteers.
Health & Behaviour
Coco appears in great health with no known health conditions. She has not yet been neutered with her current owner but she will neutered with us as part of her adoption agreement.
We are delighted to say Coco knows basic commands and has been clean in the home. She walks well on the lead however she does pull at times, this will be easily fixed with basic training. Coco is good in the crate, she appears to be settled but will need ongoing crate training; she doesn’t like to be left for long periods.
Perfect Match?
Coco is going to need some time to overcome her recent ordeal. She has left behind everything she knows, her family and her home, so she will need support getting through this transition. Ideally her new owners will not leave Coco for long periods of time. She would thrive with having someone one with her when at home where possible. Coco loves other dogs (both small and large) so could possibly live with another well-balanced and with slow introductions. She has previously lived with a small child but we would recommend older dog savvy children due to her size. Coco has a much love and affection waiting to give her new owners, she needs a second chance of being given a secure and stable home.
