Adopt a Dog

Denzel’s story is a sad one. He was rehomed from another rescue at a young age, but after his owner was evicted from the property we were notified by neighbours that they suspected he’d been abandoned. Despite the owner insisting he was going in to feed him, the neighbours said he wasn’t.

He came to CWAR very skinny, which as you can now see is a thing of the past. Denzel is now 4 years old and we believe he’s a cross between a Malinois and a Shepherd.

Denzel is very high energy and is really struggling in kennels, he just wants out of his kennel and to play with his toys but becomes very erratic and distressed when he can’t do this bless him.

Denzel can be very sweet and loving, but is typical of the Malinois breed so breed experience would be preferred. He will need to have lots of exercise and stimulation to keep him engaged & focused in his new home.

Denzel will need an adult only home, but could live alongside other dogs pending successful introductions. We don’t think he could live with cats though.
