Fudge is still looking for his forever home—and we know his perfect match is out there.

Fudge came into our care alongside his friend Bailey, who has now found his home. Now it’s Fudge’s turn to find a loving family of his own.

When Fudge first arrived, he was very reactive and struggled with people, finding it difficult to trust and often reacting out of fear. However, with time, patience, training, and the support of a confident and experienced handler, he has made incredible progress.

Today, Fudge is a much happier and more relaxed dog who is friendly with people he meets. That said, he will still need continued guidance and structure in the home to help him keep building on this progress.

Fudge will need an experienced and confident owner who understands the importance of setting clear boundaries from the very beginning.

He can display some resource guarding behaviours, so this will need to be managed appropriately. Please don’t let this put you off—resource guarding is very manageable with the right approach, and ongoing support and advice will always be provided by CWAR.

Because of this, Fudge is looking for an adult-only home.

Fudge is an active boy who loves his walks and is more than happy to go for miles—he’ll make a great companion for someone who enjoys being out and about.

He is good with other dogs and could potentially live with a resident dog, pending multiple successful meets. He can also live with cats, making him a great option for multi-pet households.

Fudge has already come so far and just needs someone willing to continue his journey and give him the stability he deserves.
