🐾 Gorgeous George & Cherry are looking for their forever home(s) 🐾

Meet this gorgeous couple who have already been through more than they deserve and are now hoping for a second chance at happiness. ❤️

George and Cherry are both around 2 years old and came into our care after spending time in police kennels. They were at risk of being put to sleep, so we knew we had to step in and give them the chance they deserved.

They arrived together and have formed a lovely bond. We would absolutely love to see them find a home together, but we will consider separate homes if the right families come along, because ultimately we want to give both of them the happy futures they deserve.

❤️ Cherry – the cuddly one!

Cherry is a beautiful Cane Corso and such a sweet girl. She’s incredibly gentle with the people she meets and has been wonderful with all of the kennel staff.

She’s lovely to walk and has been fantastic when visiting the vets too. Cherry has a cherry eye and needs eye drops, but she’s been an absolute superstar about having them administered. ❤️

She’s normally all about the cuddles, although at our recent dog park day she decided to show us her cheeky side and became completely obsessed with the tennis balls! 🎾😂

And despite being the sweet one, it’s very clear that Cherry is the boss of George! 😂

💙 Gorgeous George – the fun-loving one!

George is a male Dogue de Bordeaux cross with a huge personality!

He’s an enthusiastic, happy boy who can be strong and likes to jump up when he first comes out of his kennel. Once he’s had a chance to calm down, he’s a lovely boy who has been fantastic with the kennel staff and very good with the vets during his health check.

George loves Cherry and the two clearly enjoy each other’s company.

He’s usually the fun-loving one, but our recent dog park day revealed another side to George — while Cherry was busy hunting down tennis balls, George decided he would much rather spend his time getting cuddles! 🥰

🏡 What are they looking for?

We’d love to find George and Cherry a home together, where they can continue to have each other for company. ❤️

We’re looking for:

• An adult-only home or a home with older, dog-savvy children.
• Experienced and committed owners who understand larger breeds.
• Someone willing to continue George’s training and help him learn that four paws on the floor is the best way to say hello! 😂
• A family who can give them the time, patience, stability and love they deserve.
• If the right homes are found separately, we would consider this, with suitable dog introductions.

George and Cherry have already had their lives turned upside down through no fault of their own. They were facing an uncertain future in police kennels and were at risk of losing their lives.

We couldn’t let that happen. ❤️

Now they’ve been given their second chance. All they need is someone to give them the happy ending.
