Personality

Lenny is a 4-year-old American Bulldog cross with a sweet and gentle nature. Although a little unsure when meeting new people, once he feels safe, he blossoms into a playful, affectionate boy who loves nothing more than a good toy session! If you are happy to throw a squeaky toy for him all day long then you will very quickly make a new best friend. He really is a gem with so much potential.

Health & Behaviour

Lenny is crate trained and finds comfort in having a safe space of his own. He’s also house trained and keeps his environment clean, making him a joy to have around the home. He travels well in the car, making him a great buddy for road trips or vet visits without the stress, in fact he seems to get more excited about being in the car than the actual walk!

He’s shown himself to be neutral and polite with other dogs on a walk, and although he’s seen cats and seemed disinterested, this hasn’t been fully tested in a home environment. But he’d be happy as the only pet receiving all the love.

Lenny can be a little pushy in certain situations, particularly when asked to do something he’s unsure about – a trait that’s not unusual for his breed. Because of this, a confident, calm owner would really help him thrive.

Perfect Match?

He would benefit from multiple meet & greets to help build a strong bond before going home, and he’s currently available for either adoption or temporary foster. With all the change he’s experienced lately, he’s bound to be a little confused and would really flourish in a stable, loving environment where he can feel safe and settled again.
