Adopt a Dog

Meet Milo, a delightful 4-year-old Dachshund with a heart full of love to give. This little guy is sure to make a loyal companion for the right family.

Milo came to us after an incident occurred with a child in the home after he was corrected. He was becoming more & more pushy & frisky and his owner felt they couldn’t manage him anymore. Milo has since been neutered, he does still like to hump the occasional things but he’s calmed down so much.

Milo is mostly house trained, though he may need a bit of guidance when settling into a new home. He’s also content in his crate, but like many dogs, he can get a little FOMO (fear of missing out!) when the other dogs are playing and he’s in his crate.

Having spent some time in foster care, Milo has really come out of his shell, showing just how affectionate and playful he can be. He thrives on attention and loves a good cuddle or playtime.

Milo is looking for a home without cats and one where the humans are adults only. He could potentially live with the right dog; he’s made a few canine friends in foster care, but can be a bit nervous and vocal around some dogs while out on walks.
