Vaccinations: Up to date

Suitable environment: Adult Only Home, Possibly Dog Friendly: see description

Personality

Nessa is a beautiful 3 year old Mastiff cross..

Nessa is very friendly & affectionate, but can be initially wary when meeting new people. She can easily be won round in no time, with a treat or her favourite toy – a tennis ball! Once she knows she she loves to shower you in sloppy kisses and cuddles.

Nessa is truly a lovely girl with sooo much potential to be an amazing dog, she’s been living a kennel life since she was 8 months old so really deserves a chance at a forever home where she can really thrive

Health & Behaviour

Nessa is strong on the lead and will certainly need more training in this area, as well as with some basic manners (she will jump up uninvited sometimes). She does however listen to correction well and is very treat/tennis ball driven, so this will help keep her focus to help when she’s on the lead and other areas of her training.

Perfect Match?

Nessa has lived with many dogs in her foster home (all have gone on to find their forever home). She does need slow introductions over a few days but then she is happily zooming around with them. She has lived with both playful and neutral dogs, both young and old. She has also been in a home with a cat temporarily (whilst her foster carer was on holiday) and she wasn’t particularly interested in the cat. Slow and careful introductions would need to be done and it would need to be a dog savvy cat.

Outside of the home its clear she hasn’t had much socialisation and can be reactive to passing dogs although we are working on this.

Nessa is currently in foster in Chester
