Adopt a Dog

Otis is just one year old and is looking for a kind, gentle person to offer him a home.

He came into our care after being reported as left behind in a property when his owner moved out. When he was found, he was in a very terrible state and had been left to fend for himself, resorting to eat his own mess. His owner was already banned from keeping dogs.

What really stayed with us is how trusting Otis was from the very beginning. Despite everything he had been through, he leaned straight into affection and just wanted to be close to people.

He has continued to show that he is a sweet, affectionate little Frenchie with a playful and quirky nature.

Otis does need a bit of extra support at the moment. He has a spinal condition and there is a possibility he will need surgery one day. He will need a quiet environment and someone patient who understands that he needs to take things slowly for now.

He is happy around other dogs, cats and sensible children, and really enjoys having company.

While Otis tries his best to toilet in the right place, he does have accidents and needs someone who will be comfortable managing this.

Otis has been through a lot in his short life, but he is still full of love and ready to bond with someone who can give him the care and reassurance he deserves.
