🐾 Plato is looking for his forever home 🐾

Some of you may remember this handsome boy. Previously known as Apollo, Plato was at risk of being euthanised at the pound he found himself in. Thankfully, we were able to step in and give him the second chance he deserved. ❤️

Now all he needs is a family to give him the happy ending he’s been waiting for.

At just 1 year old, this gorgeous Mastiff mix is still very much a big baby! 🥰 It’s clear that Plato hasn’t had much guidance or structure in his life so far, but he’s eager to learn and has so much potential.

Plato responds well to guidance and is keen to please. Like many young, large dogs, he can become overexcited and still mouths when he gets excited, so he’ll need a confident and committed owner who understands that he’s still learning and is prepared to continue his training.

Plato also has a high prey drive, so he is looking for a home without cats or small pets. This will be an important consideration for his new family.

With the right boundaries, consistency and patience, we have no doubt that Plato can grow into the amazing dog we know he can be. ❤️

🏡 Plato is looking for:

• An adult-only home.
• A home without cats or small pets due to his high prey drive.
• An owner who understands large breeds and is committed to ongoing training.
• A calm, stable environment where he can continue to build his confidence and learn good manners.
• Someone who will give him clear boundaries, consistency and plenty of positive guidance.
• Calm introductions can be carried out with other dogs, as we have no known history of him living with them.

Plato has already escaped a fate he never deserved.

Now he’s searching for the one thing every dog dreams of — a loving forever home where he’ll be given the time, patience and guidance to truly flourish. 🐾❤️
