Zak came to us a few months ago from a stray facility where he faced euthanasia after suffering a break to his leg/ankle.
With a couple of weeks of bandaging and rest at our vets – he’s healed up and ready to fly the nest!
Zak is a lovely, friendly boy who has been great with everyone he meets.
He loves his toys, and gets the zoomies! He’s still very puppy like – just doesn’t realise he isn’t the size of a puppy anymore!
We have very limited information on his past, but since being with us he’s stolen our hearts and we’ve fallen in love with him!
Zak doesn’t show any behavioural concerns with us around people. He does need to learn some manners however as he doesn’t realise how big he is and can jump up when excited.
Zac can be reactive with other dogs, but we don’t believe he’s had much socialisation up until now around them so this could be worked on in the home given he’s only young.
He can pull on the lead so needs some further training with this and a strong handler.
Zak is looking for a fairly active home where he can burn off his energy with daily walks.
No young children due to his size, and no other pets.
